Our core mission is to improve the health of our clients. We do this through current best practices in medicine. Our process begins with a visit with one of our  doctors or nurse practitioners trained to evaluate your baseline medical status through a history and physical that includes labs and other diagnostic testing. They work with you to determine what medical issues need to be addressed and how the treatment is integrated with your plan. You see the provider monthly for follow up and medical management.  We do prescribe medications when indicated, however we do follow all regulations and best practice guidelines.

Good nutrition is key to a healthy life. We work with our clients to determine what way of eating they can most likely maintain long term. We have dozens of ways of eating or “diets” to choose from. They are based on the individual clients likes, dislikes and overall situation, There is no one size fits all here.

We work with our clients to identify behaviors that are not conducive to meeting their goals. We help develop coping mechanisms that allow for behavioral changes that make them successful. We provide a method of holding clients accountable, many times this is key to their success.

How does Meridian Weight Management Center help?

We believe it takes 4 things to make a great weight management program and we proudly have them all:  #1 – a solid foundation of care by our medical staff,  #2 – great dietary support by our nutritionist,  #3 – safe instruction by our certified personal trainers, and #4 – all of the support you can ask for by our caring therapist.

Our staff loves helping our patients reach healthy goals for their diabetes, prediabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, and many other conditions. Our goal is a HEALTHY you!

We love working with proactive patients who are not sick, but want to prevent illness in their future.  Maybe there is a family history of heart disease or diabetes that brings patients to us and we help the patient do everything possible to prevent them from developing those diseases themselves.
